Trouble in the Horn

I have teamed up with an organization called ONE. ONE is an organization as of right now intentions are to provide help (food, funds, medicine, and supplies.) to Countries in need, get treaties passed and they also try to hold world leaders and political officials accountable to the promises they make in passing these treaties and or international laws. The horn of Africa is in grave need of EVERYONE'S help and attention so I am hoping that you would get involved in any way that you possibly can in providing the opportunity for these people to live; especially the children. East Africa is in a devastating famine, they are witnessing the worst drought they've been through in decades. Men, Women and Children are starving and dying. 30,000 people have died in the past couple of months. We can't wait on organizations or politicians, we have to act as human beings and the time is RIGHT NOW! There's still time to save millions. So if you can raise money on your own or fly down there and help your self. Just please, do what you can. PEACE!

Below is a letter that will be sent to world leaders, please click on the link below and support ONE by being another caring human being that these so called world leaders should know that you are a human being and you care, and so should they.

If you've seen some of the footage from the region, you know what a devastating toll this famine is taking on millions of people, many of them children. But I'm also encouraged because the world is starting to respond. Just days ago, the United States pledged an additional $105 million in Somali aid funding, for a total of $565 million in aid funding for the region. That's something that should make us all very proud. But there's still a lot of work to be done. While some countries are stepping up to the plate, others have done little or nothing to help stop the starvation. So we're asking leaders all over the world:
Please urgently provide the full funding that the UN has identified as necessary to help people in the Horn of Africa, and please keep your promises to deliver the long term solutions which could prevent crises like this from happening again.

Sign the pettition here: http://act.one.org/sign/horn_of_africa_us/?akid=2370.1762795.9od7b9&rd=1&t=4

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely
Hypel
